Mugur Sescu – Job Coach
1. How long have you been at Concordia and what path have you taken inside the organization?
M: I have been in Concordia for 14 years, I started in COC (Concordia Children’s City), in the place where the houses where young people are accommodated are today, in 2014 I was moved to the city, I worked as a vacation educator at Casa Austria and Casa Eva, after which I returned to Abraham, to initially work on CT. Now I work at the Transit Center, at the Vocational School – financial education, Job Coach, I deal with internships and more recently at the Concordia warehouse.
2. Tell us about a moment that stayed in your heart from the time you worked here.
M: The moment that still remains in my memory today is from somewhere in 2012. I had a group of small children, it was the holiday, and in my free time I organized a day where I cooked with them, sang, drew, I said poems and they got involved. It stuck in my mind because the moment was not organized in advance, it was something instant.
3. What advice do you always give to the young people you work with?
M: Involvement in activities, to keep some distance from an emotional point of view, and those who do not want to be helped, we cannot help them by force.
4. If you could reincarnate into an animal, which one would you want and why?
M: I’d rather be an aquila, free to soar through the air whenever I please, because I enjoy exploring new places and escaping restrictions.
5. What’s something you’ve always wanted to do and haven’t been able to YET?
M: To travel …a lot….a lot …a lot…
6. Who do you most appreciate in your life and why?
M: I appreciate most people. I don’t necessarily have an idol or role model that I follow. I really like honesty and appreciate the truth in any situation, no matter how upsetting or painful it may be.

8. If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
M: Fried eggs with fries, of course. This food reminds me of summer vacation days at my grandparents. Games, frolicking, …copycat nonsense…
9. What could you never live without?
M: I don’t know if I couldn’t live, but it sure would be sad and desolating, to live without friends, alone or isolated.
