Diana Chetreanu–horticultural engineer, workshop trainer in plant culture

1. What inspired you to join our team and what motivates you to work here?

DC: I joined the Concordia – Vocational School team in 2016 out of a desire to share my experience as a horticulturist, and not only with others. I believe that no matter what field you work in, passion for what you do can motivate you the most. Some people are motivated by the desire to invest in something with long-term impact. I consider that forming/shaping someone, teaching them a trade is a long-term investment… for society.

2. What do you like to do most outside of work hours or during breaks?

DC: In my free time I like to travel, watch movies, read, paint by numbers. During breaks, I try to detach myself from the “office” by watching YouTube.

3. If you could be famous for anything, what would you want it to be known for?

DC: Creativity, spontaneity and good mood.

4. Tell us something about yourself that not many people know.

DC: I was born on 1.10 but in the bulletin I am entered on 02.10.

5. If you were a cartoon character, who would you be and why?

DC: The Pink Panther… because she manages to make fun of those around her and… she has fun doing it.
