Our offer

CONCORDIA Vocational School organizes free 10-month professional training courses for the specialities bakery, cooking, waiter and plant culture worker. At the end of these courses, following an exam, the graduates receive a diploma recognized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection (formerly the National Qualifications Authority -ANC) and in the European Union. The courses organized by the CONCORDIA Vocational School place great emphasis on practical training, 75% representing practical training and 25% theory.

Because young people need support in looking for and finding a job after finishing these courses, we have established partnerships with different companies and offer them advice to pass job interviews more easily.

And because the first step towards an independent life is important, `Casa ABRAHAM` Youth Residential Center hosts the young students of our school free of charge

What do we offer in the courses?

  • Specialized theory hours: 4 – 8 hours/week;
  • Specialized practice – 6 hours daily in the school workshops under the guidance of trainers;
  • External practice internships – young people do at least 2 weeks of external practice at renowned, professional employers in Prahova and Bucharest;
  • School for Life – young people participate daily in courses in applied mathematics, personal development, communication, English and creativity, in order to acquire knowledge and skills, which will help them both in practicing the profession in which they qualify, and in developing skills for an independent life;
  • Vocational counseling – young people benefit from the support of a vocational counselor who prepares them for a future job, offers them support after completing the course in finding and keeping a job;
  • Personalized learning plan according to the needs and abilities of the young person through the “Case Management” program;
  • Diplomas recognized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection (formerly the National Qualifications Authority) and the European Union.

To whom it is addressed?

Institutionalized young people or from disadvantaged families, aged between 18 and 25, graduates of at least 8 classes and minors at least 16 years old who do not request accommodation services. Young people must be medically fit to undertake a vocational training and employment course.

Where does the training take place?

At the CONCORDIA Vocational School within EDU-CAMPUS CONCORDIA, located in Ploiesti.

Registration for the 2023-2024 school year

Registration for the 2023-2024 school year takes place between March and June 2021. Registration can be done online. Complete the form and application (Admission Documents) and send it to the email address scoala@concordia.org.ro.

Admission to a qualification course within the CONCORDIA Vocational School is based on an interview and knowledge assessment tests.

  • July – August: preparation of documents
  • Last week of August: youth reception and introductory week
  • August – May: courses
  • December – January: Christmas vacation
  • February – May: internships at external employers
  • March – April: Easter vacation
  • The end of May: external exams, the awards ceremony
